Brewery Terra Firma is a new micro brewery located on 10 acres of farmland in Traverse City, Michigan. The completed operation is the first “farm brewery” in the state, using the surrounding land to cultivate crops and ingredients.
The structure contains a 2,000sf, 90-person capacity taproom which, features high ceilings, exposed beams, a finished concrete floor, multiple airy windows, 40 beer faucets and a custom audio system and bar.
The brewery space and pub spans approximately 5,000sf. A covered train platform is utilized as a patio with a lake view during Michigan’s warmer months.
Green Features
Finished construction allows the BTU’s (or “thermal energy”) that are given off during the brewery’s production process to be harnessed to heat the building.
