Two months after Hills and Dales General Hospital officials announced an expansion and fund-raising campaign to help finance it, more than half of the needed money has been raised.

Drawings were done by Ghafari and Associates, and the general contractor will be Spence Brothers.

The renovation and construction project will include: a new main entrance and lobby, upgrades to 12 of the patient rooms to change them from semi-private rooms into private rooms, allow for the hospital’s after-hours clinic and other specialty clinics to be relocated from across the street to inside of the hospital complex, a new gift shop, as well as upgrades to the cafeteria.
